Siann started her career at the then Stephens & Giles in 1992. After travelling overseas & working down south for a few years she returned to PN in 1999. Since then she has become partner & now full owner of Eyes on Broadway. She has completed additional training in Ocular Therapeutics in 2017 & can prescribe topical eye medications for many eye problems.

She served as a councillor on the NZAO for a number of years. Outside optometry she lives on a lifestyle (life sentence!) block with a large garden so spends plenty of time tending & trimming & enjoys the various animals including sheep, Georgie the pig,chickens and a cat and dog. She loves the outdoors and enjoys skiing but needs to get fitter again to make the most of it.

She has worn glasses & contact lenses for many years & can now emphasise fully with the difficulties encountered with older presbyopic eyes!
